Jonathon:

Hey guys, it's Jonathon and I have the beautiful Nicolette here and we're gonna be asking her some questions, um, regarding lip filler. And you've done, um, lips before, right?

Nicolette:

Yes. So I did lips last year around the same time in July. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative>. And I'm really thinking of doing a little bit more.

Jonathon:

Okay. How was your experience with it?

Nicolette:

It's a little spicy, but <laugh> I feel like it can be good, right? Like once you're already doing it, you kind of forget that you're doing it. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative>. And it gets better throughout the entire process. And ultimately you leave with really plump, juicy lips. And that's like the goal, right? I love like a really natural appearance to the lip. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative>. So I never wanna like overdo it. Right. But I do really love getting my lips done and especially now when it's still warm outside and we're going into the new school year. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative> wanna get that fresh look. Absolutely. And you, you're the best. So I definitely can't wait for my appointment.

Jonathon:

And what are you thinking? Are you thinking of doing a half syringe or a full syringe this time?

Nicolette:

This time I think I'm gonna do a half syringe. What are, what are your thoughts? What do you think I should do?

Jonathon:

It really depends on the look you're going for. I always tell patients, um, to go for the full syringe just because once that swelling goes down, you're gonna see that the lip is gonna go back to a very, like normal and relaxed day compared to like that swelling. And sometimes it can look a bit dramatic in the beginning, but it's gonna look a lot better once that swelling has gone down and it's gonna last you a little bit longer compared to if you do a half syringe, which is totally fine as well. Um, but you're gonna see that you're gonna be coming in sooner for that touchup you, you know,

Nicolette:

I actually experienced the same exact thing when I got my lips done last year. I was craving another half syringe because I had started with a half syringe.

Jonathon:

Right? Yeah. Yeah. And usually, um, you see that initial swelling and that's what patients fall in love with. They're like, oh my god, my lips look great. But then once that goes down you're like, oh, okay. They've kind of settled and you know, you want a little bit more. So I always say try to go for the, the full syringe, but if not the half will, you know, we'll suffice and we can just, you know, do baby steps and you can come in sooner.

Nicolette:

Okay. Yeah.

Jonathon:

Yeah. But I'm looking forward to injecting your lips, creating a beautiful shape. You already have like a really gorgeous lip. Anyways. Thank you. So <laugh>, we don't have to do too much on that.

Nicolette:

Thank you so much. Yeah. What are some patients that you typically see that come in for lip filler? Is it like a specific age range or

Jonathon:

It's, it's such a variety. So, you know, it's, I wanna say maybe people in their, like in their twenties, thirties, I mean forties. I mean, it, it's really, it's, it's all over the board. Um, and everyone is tailored to their anatomy, the, the lip shape and their age as well. Um, we never want to go overboard, um, or over a accentuate, you know, the shape in any way you want it to look really natural. Um, that's what it's all about in aesthetics, especially now. Um, it's all about a very natural and seamless look.

Nicolette:

I agree. And I really love that natural look and I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. Let's do it. Thank you so much.

Jonathon:

You're welcome. You're welcome.
